On motion by Mr. Gate~ood, Mr, .Jack Chambers was reappointed to the Industrial Development Revenue Bond Authority, by unanimous vote. On motion by Mr~ Buck, Mr. Billy Gitchell was reappointed to the Industrial Development Revenue Bond Authority, by unanimous vote. On motion by Mr. Albro, Mrs. Ethel Henderson, Mr. Leroy Hamlet, Mr. Art Keyser, Mrs. 0telia Coles were reappointed to the Housing Board of Adjustments and Appeals, by unanimous vote. On motion by Mr. Albro, Mr. John Tyng was appointed to the Housing Board of Adjustments and Appeals, by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Albro, Mr. B~unton and Mr. Gatewood. On motion by Mr. Buck, Mrs. Penelope Wiess was nominated for the Housing Board of Adjustments and Appeals and received the following votes: Mr. Buck and Mrs. O'Brien. On motion by Mr. Gatewood, Mrs. Margaret Jefferson, Mr. Wendell Lewis and Major Paul Hieronimus were appointed to the Jefferson Area Board for Aging, by unanimous vote. On motion by Mr. Buck, Mr. Frederick Seaman was appointed to the JAUNT Board, by unanimous vote. On motion by Mr. Albro, Mr. Wade Bromwell and Mr. Jimmy Jones were appointed to the Highway Safety Commission, by unanimous vote. On motion by Mr. Buck, Mr. Harvey Nichol and Mr. Leland Baker were appointed to the Region X Advisory Council on Aging, by unanimous vote. The City Manager presented a staff report stating that CHIP has proposed that the City apply to receive a grant under the Innovative Projects. Grant Program. He stated that the proposal is essentially to obtain funds under the grant, which would enable residence of the rental property in the 10th and Page Street Neighbor- hood to purchase and rehabilitate their dwelling units. He stated that the purpose of the Innovative Grant Projects Program is to assist iow and moderate income residence to remain in neighborhoods which are in the process of revitalization and to provide opportunities on an area wide or intergovernmental basis for low and moderate income residence to move outside cities if they so desire. He stated that in the staff's discussion with CHIP they feel that they can put together a proposal that will be attractive to HUD and that particularly attack
