Ayes': Mr. Albro, Mr. Buck, Mr. Conover, Ms. <br />Gleason, Dr. Hall. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> The appropriation~resolution amending the HUD innovative <br />housing grant, which was offered at the meeting of March 2, was <br />adopted by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Albro, Mr. Buck, Mr. <br />Conover, Ms. Gleason, Dr. Hall, Noes:~ None. <br /> <br /> The following appropriation, which was offered at the meeting <br />of March 9, was adopted by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Albro, <br />Mr. Buck, Mr, Conove=, Ms. Gleason, Dr. Hall. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council. or-the City of Charlottesville <br />Virginia, that the additional sum of $13,000 or as much thereof <br />as may be necessary is-hereby appropriated from the unappropriated <br />balance of the Capital Improvements'FUnd to expenditure acCount <br />05-01011 for use'.~by the City public school system to pay for <br />unanticipated expenses incurred in making storm drainage <br />±mprovem~nts to the Walker School athletic field. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Albro, seconded by Ms. Gleason, the <br />following appropriation was offered and carried over to the <br />next meeting for consideration. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, that the sum of $6,000 is hereby appropriated to <br />expenditure account 11-13090 in the Grants Fund for the purchase~ <br />and installation of a sculpture on the Main Street pedestrian <br />mall, provided that this appropriation, shall be subject to the <br />receipt by .the-Grants Fund of $3,000 from a private donor and <br />$3,000 from grant number 81-614 from the Virginia Commission on <br />the Arts and Humanities. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Albro, seconded by Dr. Hall, the following <br />appropriation was offered and carried over to the next meeting <br />for consideration: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, that the sum of $4,079 is hereby appropriated from the <br />G=ants_i~und to expenditure account 11-013070 for use by the <br />Charlottesville~Albemarte Clean Community. Commission (CAC3) in <br />recycling and litter control projects for the period of January <br />through'June, 1981. Such appropriation shall be subject to the <br />receipt of a like amount mn revenue from a Virginia Division <br />of Litter Control grant, <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Albro, seconded by Mr. Conover, the following <br />appropriation was offered and carried over to the next meeting <br />for considerationt <br /> <br /> WHEREAS certain projects or programs funded in the Community <br />Development Block Grant Fund have generated project income through <br />the sale or leaseof properties acquired with CDBG fundS, or <br />through Private reimbursements for certain projects expenditures; <br />and <br /> <br />. WREREA$ it is. the intention of City Council that all such <br />zncome should be treated as ~'revolving"funds which may be used <br />for the continuation of such projects or programs~ as stated in <br />a previous resoltuion by this Counci~l adopted March 3, 1980; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS it is therefore necessary to re-appropriate certain <br />of such sums to active accounts in the Community Development Block <br />Grant Fund; now, therefore, be it <br /> <br /> , RESOLVED by the Council ofithe City of Charlottesville, <br />Vzrginia, that the following sums redeived.as projects income in <br />the Community DeVelopment Block Grant Fund are hereby re-appropriated <br />to the respective expenditure accounts Iset forth below: <br /> <br /> <br />
