Executive Session On motion by Mrs. Rinehart, seconded by Mr. Fife the Council voted to go into executive session to discuss personnel by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: None. On motion the meeting adjourned. President COUNCIL CHAMBER - MONDAY, OCTOBER 6, 1975 Regular meeting Minutes Approved Appointment: Advisory Board of Aging Appointment: Advisory Committee for South Rivanna Study Appointments: Joint Council-School Board Committee - Lane High School Building Resolution re: Bingo Parties - Jefferson Lodge No 20 The Council met in regular session on this date with the following members present: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Absent: None. The minutes of the meeting of September 15, 1975 were approved as presented. On motion by Mrs Rinehart, Mr. Julian G. Hanlon, was appointed to the Advisory Board of Aging, by unanimous vote. On motion by Mrs. Rinehart, Mrs. Nancy K. O'Brien was appointed to the Advisory Conm~ittee for South Rivanna Study, by unanimous ~vote. On motion by Mr. Fife, the following were appointed t'o the Joint Council-School Board Committee to recommend long range permanent uses for the Lane High School Building: Mr. Harry Porter, Chairman Mr. Jack Horn Mr. Mason Davis Mr. Paul Holdren Mrs. Robert Carter Mr. Bernard Whitsett Mr. Clarence Jones Mr. John Gordon Miss Suzanne Doggett Mr. Darden Towe Mr. Don Heyne Mr. George Ferguson Mr. George Bowles Mrs. Fred Landess Mrs. Edgar Shannon Mrs. John Williams Mr. Steve Waters On motion by Mr. Gilliam, seconded by Mr. Van Yahres the following resolution was unanimously adopted. WHEREAS, the Jefferson Lodge No. 20 F&AI~ has duly applied for a permit to conduct bingo parties in compliance with §19-36 of the Code of the City of Charlottesville, 1965, as amended; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Jefferson Lodge No.'20 F&AMmeeting~the qualifications as outlined in §19-36; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that a permit be granted to the Jefferson Lodge No. 20 F&AM to conduct bingo parties in accordance with all the provisions of §19-36 of the Code of the City of Charlottesville for a period of one year from the date of this resolution; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council be directed to send a copy of this resolution to the Secretary of the Jefferson Lodge No. 20 F&AM.
