34 <br /> <br />Appropriation re: $9,750 <br />Area 10 Alcohol Safety <br />Action Project Feasibility <br />Study <br /> <br />Authorize Mayor to sign an · <br />agreement in the Branchlands <br />Case <br /> <br />Resolution re: Viewers <br />for vacation of Duke Street <br /> <br />Consideration re: ordinance <br />Permit Parking <br /> <br />meeting of the Council on September 15, 1975, was adopted <br />by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. <br />Fife, Mr. Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: <br />None. <br /> <br /> The resolution appropriating $9,750 from Grant Funds for <br />Area 10 Alcohol Safety Action Project Feasibility Study, which <br />was Offered at the meeting of the Council on September <br /> <br />15, 1975, was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: <br />Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. <br />Van Yahres. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Gilliam, seconded by Mr. Fife the Mayor <br />was authorized to sign a settlement agreement in the <br />Branchlands Water and Sewer Case. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. Rinehart, seconded by Mr. Fife the <br />following resolution was unanimsouly adopted. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION appointing viewers to consider a <br />request for the vacation of unopened Duke Street. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has received a petition <br />requesting vacation of unopened Duke Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it appears to Council that the notices <br />required by §15.1-364 of the Code of Virgini& (1950), as <br />amended, have been duly posted; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Charlottesville that James P. Borden, Mason <br />S. Byrd and Lee Greaver be and the same are hereby appointed <br />as viewers to view such unopened street and report in <br />writing to Council what inconvenience, if any, would result <br />from the vacation thereof. <br /> <br /> An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND <br /> <br />REENACT TO AMEND SECTION 18=93.1 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1965, RELATING TO THE PERMIT PARKING <br />ZONES," was offered with amendments by Mrs. Rinehart, <br />seconded by Mr. Fife and carried over to the next meeting <br />for consideration. <br /> <br /> On motion the meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />Special meeting <br /> <br />Resolution re: Federal <br />Executive Institute <br /> <br />BASEMENT CONFERENCE ROOM - MONDAY, OCTOBER <br /> 13, 1975 <br /> <br /> The Council met in special session on this date with <br />the following members present: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. <br />Gilliam, Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Absent: None. <br /> <br /> A motion by Mr. Fife, seconded by Mrs. Rinehart that <br />unanimous consent be given to the consideration of the <br />following resolution, was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Fife, seconded by Mrs. Rinehart the <br />following resolution was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> <br />
