Absent: NOne. <br /> <br /> The minutes of March 15, April 12 and April 19 were <br /> <br /> approved as corrected. <br /> <br /> An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH <br /> <br /> CURFEW HOURS FOR MINORS UNDER CERTAIN AGES, TO PROVIDE <br /> CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS THERETO AND TO ESTABLISH THE <br /> RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARENTS AND OTHER ADULTS WITH RESPECT <br /> TO SUCH CURFEW," which was offered at the meeting of the <br /> Council on April 19, 1976, was adopted by the following <br /> recorded vote. Ayes: Mr~ Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, <br /> Mrs .Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> A motion by Mr. Gilliam, seconded by Mr. Van Yahres that <br /> <br /> an executive session be held at the end of the meeting to <br /> discuss committee appointments, was adopted by the following <br /> vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam and Mr. <br /> Van Yahres. Noes: Mrs.. _ Rinehart. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Marcia Mashaw and Mr. Brant Allen addressed the <br /> <br /> Council and presented a report of the Central Piedmont Urban <br /> Observatory, entitled "AN EVALUATION MECHANISM FOR HUMAN <br /> RESOURCE PROGRAM: RESULTS - ORIENTED INFORMATION FOR FUNDING <br /> DECISION MAKERS IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE." Mrs. <br /> Mashaw briefly outlined the contenta of the report and <br /> stated that it would enable the Council to better evaluate <br /> requests for funding. A motion by Mr. Fife, seconded by <br /> <br />Mrs. Rinehart that a work session be sen to discuss the report, <br /> <br />was unanimously adooted. <br /> <br /> The resolution appropriating $10,000 for work at the <br /> <br />Old Avon Street Landfill, which was offered at the meeting <br />of the Council on April 26, 1976, was adopted by the following <br />recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gilliam, <br />Mrs. Rinehart and Mr. Van Yahres. Noes: None. <br /> <br /> The resolution appropriating $12,712 for purchase of <br /> <br />building by the Region X Mental Health Board, which was <br />offered at the meeting of the Council on April 26, 1976, <br />was adopted by the following recorded vote.
