160 Appropriation re: $1,733 - Street Lights The resolution appropr{ating $1,733 for street light installation, which was offered at the meeting of the Council on September 20, 1976, was adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr, Barbour, Mr. Brunton, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood and Mrs. O' Brien. Noes: None. Consideration re: Appropriation re: $7,500 Electoral Board A communication was presented from the Chairman of the Electoral Boayd.stating. that when the current fiscal year budget was prapared they were not aware of a primary election to be held in June of 1977 and did not provide for it in the budget. The communication stated that $7500 would be needed to cover the expense of an additional election. On motion by Mr. Barbour, seconded by Mr. Brunton the following resolution was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that $7,500 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for expenses of the Electoral Board. Consideration re: A communication was presented from S.S. Huja, Director of Appropriation re: $4,000 - Human Resources Community Development recommending that the Human Resources Assembly Assembly be conducted for the third year. He stated that the cost of the assembly would be $8500, but that the Social Development Commission and its Planning Task Force have contacted other agencies in an attempt to get money from other sources. He stated that the commission has tentative commitments from other sources and recommends that the City appropriate $4,000 for this activity for the coming year. On motion by Mr. Gate- wood, seconded by Mr. Fife the following resolution was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that $4,000 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for expenses of the Human Resources Assembly. Consideration re: Appropriation $11,674.40 - Refund of Personal Property Taxes - Monticello ~airy Consideration re: Appropriation - $84,230 Family Group Homes On motion by Mr. Brunton, seconded by Mr. Fife the following resolution was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that $11,674.40 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for refund of erroneous personal property taxes to Monticello Dairy. ~Mr. Gary Duncan, Director of Community Attsntion Home, presented a proposed budget for, Four Family Group Homes. He stated that the budget has already been approved by the Department of Corrections in Richmond and that reimbursement to the City is effective October 1, 1976. He also stated that the budget is entirely supported by State and Federal funds and requires to City outlay. On motion bv Mr. Barbour, seconded by Mr. Brunton the proposed-family group homes budget was approved as presented. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that $84,230 be and the .same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for Family Group Homes Budget to be reimbursed by State and Federal Funds.
