Absent: Mr. Brunton. <br /> <br />On motion the meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />COUNCIL CHAMBER MONDAY, MAY 9, 1977 <br /> <br />Regular meeting <br /> <br />Approval of minutes <br /> <br />Staff Report: <br />Cable TV <br /> <br /> The Council met in regular session on this date with the <br />following members present: Mr. Barbour, Mr. Fife, Mr. Gatewood <br />and Mrs. O'Brien. Absent: Mr. Brunton <br /> The minutes of the meetings of April 15th and April 18th <br />were approved as corrected. <br /> Mr. Bob Stripling, Assistant City Manager addressed the <br />Council and stated that Multi-Channel T~ Cable~.~Company nas <br />requested certain modifications to the franchise agreement <br />currently in effect between the City and Jefferson Cable. He <br />stated the requested modifications include: changes in <br />technical specifications as the result of new FCC rules, an <br />immediate upward adjustment of rates of $1.00 per month on the <br />initial outlet and $.25 per month on additional outlets to be <br />effective for three years, additional rate adjustments tied to <br />changes in the Consumer Price Index and extension of the existing <br /> <br /> <br />
