Resolution re: <br />Raffle Permit - <br />Thomas Jefferson <br />Memorial~Unitarian <br />Church <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr? Barbour, seconded by Mr. Brunton the <br />following resolution was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian <br />Church has duly applied for a permit to conduct raffles in <br />compliance with §17-19 of the Code of the City of Charlottesville <br />1976, as amended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Thomas <br />Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church meets the qualifications <br />as outlined in §17-19; <br /> <br />Resolution re: <br />Bingo Permit - <br />Jaycees <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br /> City of Charlottesville that a permit be granted to the Thomas <br /> Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church to conduct raffles in accordance <br /> ~th all the provi ions of §17-19 of the Code of the City <br /> Charlottesville for a period of one year from the date of the <br /> resolution; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FUi[THER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council <br /> be directed to sen, a copy of this resolution to the Board <br /> of Trustees for th, Thomas Jefferson Memorial Unitarian Church. <br /> <br /> On motion by fr. Barbour, seconded by Mr. Brunton the <br /> <br />following resolution was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Charlottesville-Albemarle Jaycees has <br />duly applied for a permit to conduct bingo parties in compliance <br />with ~17-19 of the Code of the City of Charlottesville 1976 <br />as amended; and ' ' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Charlottesville- <br />Albemarle Jaycees meet the qualifications as outlined in §17-19; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of CharlottesVille that a permit be granted to the <br />Charlottesville-Albemarle Ja~c~es to conduct bingo parties in <br />accordance with all the provisions of §17-19 of the Code of <br />the City of Charlottesville for a period of one year from the <br />date of this resolution; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FU~ <br />directed to send a <br />of the Charlottesvi <br /> <br />Authorization - The City Manag <br />Mayor to sign an <br />agreement regarding operation of the Jo <br />the Regional'Jail <br /> and responsibilitie~ <br /> <br />recommended that it <br /> <br />seconded by Mr. Brul <br /> <br />the agreement on bet <br /> <br />rHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Council be <br />zopy of this resolution to the President <br />lie-Albemarle Jaycees. <br /> <br />~r presented an agreement regarding the <br /> <br />[nt Security Complex setting forth the duties <br /> <br /> of the participating jurisdictions and <br /> <br /> be executed.
