32.0 <br /> <br />Resolution re: <br />Appointing viewers <br />for vacation of <br />a portion of <br />Smith Street <br /> <br />Ordinance <br />Gas Thermal Billing <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of CharlotteSville that Messrs. Mason S. Byrd, W. J. <br />Copeland.and H. P. Winn report in writing to Council what <br />inconvenience, if any, would result from such vacation. <br /> <br />On motion by Mr. Fife, seconded by Mr. Gatewood the following <br /> <br />resolution was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION appointing viewers to consider a request for <br />vacation of a portion of unopened Smith Street. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has received a petition requesting <br />vacation of a portion of unopened Smith Street lying between <br />St. Charles and Sheridan Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it appears_ to Council that the notices required <br /> Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, have <br />by ~15.1-364 of the <br />been duly posted; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of C~artottssville that Messrs. Mason S. Byrd, Harry T. <br />Marshall and H. P. Winn report in writing to Council what <br />inconvenience, if any, would result form such vacation. <br /> <br />An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN <br /> <br />CHAPTER 12 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE BY ADDING <br /> <br />A SECTION 12~7.1 TO PROVIDE FOR AN ADJUSTMENT TO BE MADE TO <br /> <br />MONTBLY GAS BILLINGS BASED ON THERMAL CONTENT OF GAS DELIVERED," <br /> <br />which was offered at the meeting of the Council on December 19, <br /> <br />1977, was adopted by the following recorded vote.
