324 <br /> <br />Executive Session <br /> <br /> The Council expects the city administrative staff and <br />all operating departments of the city government to give their <br />attention and support to the policies stated in this resolution. <br />They, and all appointed boards, commissions and agencies of the <br />city government are asked to bear in mind that their day to <br />day activities affect the city's economic future in ways that are <br />both obvious and subtle. <br /> <br /> The Council believes that through adherence to this <br />policy a cooperative effort by all segments of the community, <br />Charlottesville's economy will remain strong and growing in <br />the years ahead. <br /> <br /> A motion by Mr. Brunton, seconded by Mr. Fife that the <br />Council meet in executive session to discuss a matter exempted <br />by Section 2.1-344(a)(1) of the Virginia Freedom of Information <br /> <br />Act, was adopted by the following recorded vote.
