W., KNOWN AS OAK LAWN," was offered by <br />Mrs. O'Brien, seconded by Mr. Gatewood and carried over to <br />the next meeting for consideration. <br /> <br /> An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN <br />SECTION 2-89 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, <br />AS AMENDED, PERTAINING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION," was offered by Mrs. O'Brien, seconded <br />by Mr. Buck and carried over to the next meeting for conSideration. <br /> <br /> Mrs. O'Brien stated that since the Area Manpower Board <br /> <br />has been reorganized she was wondering if a request could be <br />made of the Manpower Planning Board that when they have a <br />proposal before them, to circulate a request for comment so <br />that other groups within the City who might be doing a <br />similar project would have an opportunity to say whether <br />or not they are working on a similar project which would be <br />helpful in avoiding duPlication of effort. <br /> <br /> A motion by Mr. Albro, seconded by Mrs. O'Brien that Council <br />meet in executive session to discuss manters exempted by <br />Section 2~1-344(a)(1) and Section 2.1-344(a)(2) of the Virginia <br />Freedom of Information Act, was adopted by the following <br />recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Albro, Mr. Bmunton, Mr. Buck, Mr. <br />Gatewood and Mrs. O.'Brien.
