11 <br />WHEREAS <br /> , construction has not yet started on either the Rugby Road or Court <br />Square projects, and it appears that there will not be sufficient grant funding to fully <br />construct both projects; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, it is the desire of City Council that the a vailable funding which is <br />currently allocated to the Rugby Road sidewalk and bicycle lane project be allocated to <br />the historic Court Square enhancement project, so that it may be completely constructed. <br /> <br /> NOW <br />, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council for t he City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the Virginia Department of Transportation is hereby <br />requested to reallocate and transfer TEA - 21 grant funds previously dedicated to the <br />Rugby Road sidewalk and bicycle lane project to the historic Court Square pro ject. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br />: BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Lynch, seconded by Mr. Schilling, Mr. Thomas Christopher <br />Crehan was appointed to the Community Development Block Grant Task Force (Fifeville <br />representative) by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Mr. Lynch, Mr. <br />Schilling. Noes: None. Absent: Ms. Richards. This term will expire on May 30, 2005. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Lynch, seconded by Mr. Schilling, Ms. Cindy Stratton was <br />appointed to the Community Development Block Grant Task F orce (social issues <br />representative) by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Mr. Lynch, Mr. <br />Schilling. Noes: None. Absent: Ms. Richards. This term will expire on May 30, 2005. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Lynch, seconded by Mr. Schilling, Ms. Rose Mary Tyler was <br />appointed to the Rose Hill Neighborhood Task Force by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. <br />Caravati, Mr. Cox, Mr. Lynch, Mr. Schilling. Nose: None.
