2 <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox said he feels sidewalk repair funds are l ow. <br /> <br /> Ms. Richards said she would like to see a matrix on infrastructure improvements <br />for the past few years. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox asked for information on how much economic development money is <br />being used to create housing. <br /> <br /> Ms. Richards said she would like the Hou sing Policy Task Force to look at the <br />issue of house banking. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox noted that this is the last year of City funding for the Quality Community <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. O'Connell said it is anticipated that a grant will be received to continue QCC. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lynch sa id he does not think enough is budgeted for downtown mall <br />maintenance. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox said he would like to explore a business improvement district to fund <br />this. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lynch asked for information on sales revenues for downtown versus other <br />areas. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lynch sa id he would like to go back to the issue of rent at McGuffey, noting <br />it could help fund other things. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox said he would like to know what other localities in Virginia do with <br />regard to arts groups, and if there are comparables to McGuffey. <br /> <br /> The meet ing was adjourned. <br /> <br />______________________________ ___________________________ <br />President Clerk <br />
