12 <br /> <br /> Mr. Lynch made a motion to approve the resolution regarding Fair Housing and <br />Mr. Caravati seconded the motion. <br /> <br /> M r. Lynch said he thinks legitimate issues have been raised about Virginia <br />Neurocare. <br /> <br /> Mr. Caravati said the applicants have bordered on being irresponsible. He said <br />there is confusion from the State point of view. <br /> <br /> Ms. Richards noted that State and Fede ral fair housing laws supercede ours. <br /> <br /> The resolution adopting the Fair Housing statement was approved by the <br />following vote. Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Mr. Lynch, Ms. Richards, Mr. Schilling. <br />Noes: None. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that <br />the analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, as presented to City Council at their <br />meetings on March 1, 2004 and March 15, 2004, is hereby approved as a companion <br />document to the Consolidated Plan. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> There w ere no matters by the public. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Mr. Caravati reminded Councilors that visitors from Besancon, France will be <br />attending a reception hosted by the City on Tuesday. <br /> <br /> The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />_____________________________ ________________ ___________ <br />President Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
