2 <br />Charlottesville School System, but because it failed to name a school, she refused to <br />accept it. He said that officials are here from the Charlottesville School System to <br />present Ms. McQueen with an honorary diploma. <br /> <br /> Mr . Ron Hutchinson, School Superintendent, and Ms. Linda Bowen, School <br />Board Chair, awarded Ms. McQueen an honorary diploma from Charlottesville High <br />School. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox presented Ms. McQueen with a key to the city. <br /> <br /> Ms. McQueen said that she is most humbled by the decision to bestow this honor <br />on her. On behalf of the parents and grandparents whose children were plaintiffs, she <br />accepted the diploma. <br /> <br /> Mr. Schilling read the National public Works Week proclamation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Caravati read the Teen Pregnancy Prev ention Month proclamation. <br /> <br /> Ms. Richards read the Business Appreciation Week proclamation. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> <br /> Mr. Peter Kleeman, 407 Hedge Street, expressed disappointment that the <br />discussion scheduled later in the meeting is limited to the process of building ro ads <br />rather than whether the Meadowcreek Parkway really solves the problem. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox announced that the Druid Avenue rezoning was postponed at the request <br />of the applicant. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Caravati, seconded by Mr. Schilling, the followi ng consent <br />agenda items were approved by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Caravati, Mr. Cox, Mr. <br />Lynch, Ms. Richards, Mr. Schilling. Noes: None. <br /> <br />a.
