3 <br /> Ms. Cornelia Johnson, City Sheriff and Acting Jail Superintendent, introduced the <br />new Jail Superintendent, Ronald Matthews. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox said that Council briefly discussed the Ridge and Cherry development in <br />closed session and the consensus was that the discussion should be held in a public <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br /> Mr. Caravati removed the appropriation of assets from the District Home and <br />ordinance regarding release of Ten Center sewer easem ents from the consent agenda. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Lynch, seconded by Ms. Richards, the following consent <br />agenda items were approved by the following vote. Ayes: Mr. Caravati (except that Mr. <br />Caravati voted no the ordinance rezoning Linden Avenue), Mr. Cox , Mr. Lynch, Ms. <br />Richards, Mr. Schilling (except that Mr. Schilling voted no on the appropriation of State <br />funding for Schools for FY 05, the Annual CDBG appropriation, and the ordinance <br />rezoning Linden Avenue). Noes: None, except Mr. Caravati who voted no on the <br />ordinance rezoning Linden Avenue, and Mr. Schilling, who voted no on the appropriation <br />of State funding for Schools for FY 05, the Annual CDBG appropriation, and the <br />ordinance rezoning Linden Avenue. Mr. Schilling said he voted no for the reason s he <br />elaborated on previously. <br /> <br /> Ms. Richards noted that the living wage resolution instructs the City Manager to <br />bring to Council a review of the living wage for City employees during the budget <br />process in lieu of mandating an automatic increase.
