34 <br /> <br /> Responding to a question from Mr. Lynch about the laboratory space, Mr. <br />Newman said there will be no employment impact, but rather it will just be a shifting of <br />space <br /> <br /> Mr. Lynch thanked Mr. Newman for the report. He said he is excited about the <br />design guidelines. He asked what will happen to the parking lot currently used by the <br />University in Fifeville once the new parking garage is built. <br /> <br />Mr. Newman said the property will return to private sector use. <br /> <br /> Responding to a question from Mr. O'Connell, Mr. Newman said the North <br />Grounds connector is expected to be completed in the summer of 2005. <br /> <br /> Dr. Brown said he feels it is good to involve people early on in the University's <br />plans. He said he would like to hear about the other areas of development at a later date, <br />perhaps at a work session. He suggested that the information be made available to the <br />public. <br /> <br /> Mr. Newman said that the information will be put on the University's website in <br />the near future. <br /> <br /> Ms. Hamilton said she is pleased to hear about the University's plans for housing, <br />and asked when more information on this will be available. <br /> <br /> Mr. Newman said that once the University is sure what it is doing information <br />will be made available. He said the first focus will be on replacement dormitories.
