NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CHARLOTTESVILLE CITY COUNCIL WILL BE <br />HELD ON Monday, November 14, 2005 AT 5:00 p.m. IN THE Visitors Center, <br />Downtown Mall Side of the Market Street Parking Garage. <br /> <br />THE PROPOSED AGENDA IS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Work Session: Downtown Mall/West Main Street Improvements <br /> <br />BY ORDER OF THE MAYOR <br /> <br />BY Jeanne Cox <br /> <br />VISITORS CENTER- November 14, 2005 <br /> <br /> Council met in special session on this date with the following members present: <br />Dr. Brown, Mr. Caravati, Mr. Lynch, Mr. Schilling. Absent: Ms. Hamilton. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim Tolbert, Director of Neighborhood Development Services, gave an <br />overview of WRT's report and recommendations regarding the Downtown Mall. He said <br />that the estimate to redo the bricks on the mall is $8 million. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lynch asked for a copy of the Law engineering report regarding the <br />substructure of the Mall. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tolbert gave an overview of WRT's report and recommendations regarding <br />side streets on the Downtown Mall. <br /> <br /> <br />
