8 <br /> Mr. O’Connell said that staff is ready to bring the cost allocation issue to Council. <br /> <br /> Dr. Brown said the missing ingredient in the dredging discussion is Albemarle <br />County residents and officials, and said we should broaden the discussion to involve <br />them. <br /> <br /> Mr. O’Connell said Albemarle County Service Authority and Rivanna Water and <br />Sewer Authority also need to be involved. <br /> <br /> Dr. Brown suggested having the discussion first on our own to get the impacts on <br />the City and then broaden it. <br /> <br /> Mr. O’Connell asked Council to entertain also talking about sewer systems as that <br />will have more financial impact than water. <br /> <br /> Mr. Huja said we cannot approve phasing by ourselves, and asked why not <br />include Albemarle County. <br /> <br /> Mr. Norris said we need to decide what City direction to give first. <br /> <br /> Mr. O’Connell asked Council’s authorization to apply for a new Virginia <br />Municipal League challenge, “Virginia Go Green,” and it was the consensus of Council <br />to authorize the application. <br /> <br /> The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />______________________________ _____________________________ <br />President Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
