3 <br /> Mr. Norris said he believes U. Va. has officially divested. He said the times on <br />the water supply plan work session are approximate, and said significant time will be <br />given to discuss dredging. <br /> <br /> Mr. O’Connell said that the energy audit appropriation is a state grant for an audit <br />of School buildings and the ordinance will provide a one-time tax exemption for energy <br />efficiency that meets certain guidelines. <br /> <br /> Mr. Norris asked Chief Longo for a brief assessment of his thinking about the <br />citizen review board. <br /> <br /> Police Chief Tim Longo said the proposed the citizen advisory group would have <br />the primary responsibility for developing necessary relationships and serving as a <br />sounding board after incidents. He said the process needs to be further defined before the <br />committee is appointed and trained. He said the proposal is to appoint the committee by <br />the fall. <br /> <br /> Mr. Norris noted that the $10,000 appropriation for Habitat for Humanity has <br />been removed from the agenda. <br /> <br /> On motion by Dr. Brown, seconded by Mr. Taliaferro, the following consent <br />agenda items were approved by the following vote. Ayes: Dr. Brown, Ms. Edwards, Mr. <br />Huja, Mr. Norris, Mr. Taliaferro. Noes: None. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />a. Minutes of April 15, 18 and 21 <br /> <br />nd <br />APPROPRIATION <br />b. : $2,500 – Energy Audit Incentive Grant (2 reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Charlottesville, through Public Works Facilities <br />Maintenance, applied for and received a $2,500 grant through Virginia Sustainable <br />Building Network to assist in funding an Energy Audit of Charlottesville City Elementary <br />Schools. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $2,500, received as a grant from the Virginia <br />Sustainable Building Network, is hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenues - $2,500 <br />Fund: 425 Funded Program: SH-050 G/L Account: 430110 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $2,500 <br />Fund: 425 Funded Program: SH-050 G/L Account: 599999 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />c. : $1,450 – Insurance Reimbursement for Golf Course <br />nd <br /> (2 reading) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City of Charlottesville has received an insurance remittance in <br />the amount of $1,450 from the Virginia Municipal League when high winds caused <br />extensive damage to the roof of the Meadow Creek Golf Course Club House. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $1,450 received as insurance reimbursement <br />payments is appropriated into the Capital Improvement Fund in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenue - $1,450 <br />Fund: 425 Funded Program: P-00184 G/L Account: 451110 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $1,450 <br />Fund: 425 Funded Program: P-00184 G/L Account: 599999 <br /> <br /> <br />
