4 <br /> <br />Revenues <br />$17,500 Fund: 425 Project: P-00223 G/L Account: 430110 <br /> <br />Expenditures <br />$17,500 Fund: 425 Project: P-00223 G/L Account: 599999 <br /> <br />nd <br />APPROPRIATION <br />b. : $75,000 – Grant for Summer Lunch Program (2 reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the City of Charlottesville, through Parks and Recreation, has <br />received approval for reimbursement up to $75,000 from the U.S. Department of <br />Agriculture to provide free breakfast and lunch to children attending summer camp <br />programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the grant award covers the period from period June 1, 2008 through <br />December 31, 2008. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $75,000, received from the U.S. Department of <br />Agriculture, is hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenue – $75,000 <br /> <br />Fund: 211 Internal Order: 1900100 G/L Account: 431110 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $75,000 <br /> <br />Fund: 211 Internal Order: 1900100 G/L Account: 530670 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />c. : $26,000 – Charlottesville Community Design Center <br /> Reimbursement (carried over) <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />d. : $4,950 – Job Fair Reimbursement (carried over) <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />e. : $18,000 – First Tee Program Grant (carried over) <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />f. : $25,000 – Marketing Program for Visitors Bureau <br /> (carried over) <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br />g. : “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ORDAINING <br /> SECTION 15-203 OF ARTICLE V, CHAPTER 15 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br /> OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1990, AS AMENDED, RELATED TO THE <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE OF PERMIT PARKING DESIGNATIONS” <br /> <br />th <br />RESOLUTION <br />h. : Approving Permit Parking: 10 Street between Page and <br /> Wertland; Altamont Circle; Altamont Street (expand to 24 <br /> hours) <br /> <br />th <br />WHEREAS <br />, residents of 10 Street, N.W. between Page Street and Wertland <br />Street have requested that City Council designate that street as a restricted parking area; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, in accordance with City Code Section 15-201, et seq, the City <br />Traffic Engineer has conducted on street parking surveys and mailed notice to all <br />residents of the affected area that Council will consider designating such area as a <br />restricted parking area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the surveys have shown that at least 75% of the total number of on <br />street parking spaces in the proposed restricted parking area were occupied, and at least <br />50% of the total number of on street parking spaces in that area were occupied by <br />commuter vehicles; and <br /> <br /> <br />
