The City’s contribution to OAR/JACC will be increased by <br />$8,548; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br /> by the City Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $8,548 is hereby transferred from currently <br />appropriated funds into the City’s contribution to OAR/JACC: <br /> <br />Transfer From <br />$8,548 Fund: 105 Cost Center: 9803030000 G/L Account: 561426 <br /> <br />Transfer To <br />$8,548 Fund: 105 Cost Center: 9713007000 G/L Account: 540100 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />g. : $294,000 – Lighted Crosswalks Grant (carried over) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />h. : Special Permit for Restaurant Drive-through Window at <br /> 600 Cherry Avenue <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , The Salvation Army, owner of the property at 600 Cherry Avenue, <br />has requested a special use permit with respect to the property identified on City Tax <br />Map 29 as Parcel 233.3, consisting of approximately 23,522 square feet (“Subject <br />Property”), to allow operation of a drive-through window as part of the proposed <br />restaurant; <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , the Subject Property was rezoned “MU-CH” (Cherry Avenue <br />Mixed Use) by City Council on September 15, 2008, and, pursuant to §34-796 of the City <br />Code, such modifications for use of the property are allowed by Special Use Permit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , following a joint public hearing before this Council and the <br />Planning Commission, duly advertised and held on August 12, 2008, this Council finds <br />that such use is allowed under City Code Section 34-796, and will conform to the criteria <br />applicable to special permits generally under Chapter 34 of the City Code; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that a <br />special use permit is hereby approved and granted to The Salvation Army to allow a <br /> <br />
