16
Dr. Brown said he likes the idea of fare free for VIEW clients and would like to
get more information on the number of people and how it could be done. He said he
would also like more information on trees. He said he would like to look at them in the
context of Council reserve, not an allocation.

Mr. Huja asked how many trees will be planted next year, and how many more
could be planted for $40,000 to $50,000.

Mr. Norris said he would like more information on what can be accomplished this
year with items listed by Ms. Edwards. He suggested putting the funds in future
downturn reserves for now.

Dr. Brown said he also supports putting as much as possible in reserves. He
expressed concern about funding new programs.

Dr. Brown moved the amended appropriation as recommended, Mr. Taliaferro
seconded the motion, and the Year End Appropriation which was offered on December
st
1 was approved by the following vote.
