<br /> Councilors agreed with the recommendation regarding the SPCA. <br /> <br /> Dr. Brown asked how many stipends would the funding provide for QCC farm. <br /> <br /> Mr. Huja said he supports QCC farms, but not stipends for volunteers. <br /> <br /> Dr. Brown said he wants to learn more about what the expansion means. He said <br />he thinks the program is good and really supports it. <br /> <br /> The majority of Council supports funding for QCC. <br /> <br /> Mr. Norris asked if the funding for the Mohr Center is for one year or a multi-year <br />issue. <br /> <br /> Mike Costanzo, Director of the Mohr Center, said he does not see State funding <br />returning. <br /> <br /> Responding to a question from Dr. Brown, Police Chief Tim Longo said that the <br />Mohr Center saves officers a tremendous amount of time. <br /> <br /> Council supported funding for the Mohr Center. <br /> <br /> The majority of Council supported level funding for Children, Youth and Families <br />Services at $22,000 if they can raise $8,000. <br /> <br /> Council agreed to leave funding in reserve for McIntire wading pool pending a <br />th <br />discussion on April 6. <br /> <br /> Dr. Brown noted that the County is looking for support from the City for its <br />easement and preservation projects <br /> <br /> Council supported advertising for the housing planner position, and Mr. Huja <br />suggested changing the position title. <br /> <br /> The policies were reviewed for the Strategic Investment account. <br /> <br /> Mr. Taliaferro asked for a list of job titles funded by utility funds. <br /> <br />Public Comment <br /> <br /> Ms. Colette Hall, 101 Robertson Lane, expressed concern about infrastructure <br />delays. She said she is worried about outcomes of the Real Dads program. <br /> <br /> Ms. Joy Johnson, Hardy Drive, said the City needs to educate people better about <br />how to apply for funding.
