Absent: Ms. Edwards. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Mr. Norris said he was contacted by Senator Connolly’s office about providing a <br />letter in support of federal cap and trade legislation. <br /> <br /> It was the consensus of Council to send the letter. <br /> <br /> Mr. O’Connell said he just received information that a second job fair will be held <br />in September. <br /> <br />thth <br /> Mr. Norris said a Juneteenth celebration will be held June 19 and 20. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Ms. Colette Hall, 101 Robertson Lane, said education is needed for citizens to <br />prevent trees from being taken down. She said financial incentives should be provided <br />for people to plant a tree, such as providing a $100 credit on the real estate tax.
