9 <br /> On motion by Ms. Szakos, seconded by Ms. Edwards, Council authorized the <br />letter to VDOT by the following vote. Ayes: Dr. Brown, Ms. Edwards, Mr. Huja, Mr. <br />Norris, Ms. Szakos. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Mr. Paul Long, 1410 Grady Avenue, said he believes the City’s and VDOT’s <br />response to the recent snow storm was completely inadequate and a disgrace to the City. <br />He said he has a problem with the CTS manager stopping buses and asked the Mayor to <br />look into the situation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Stephen Bach said he is happy the City smoothed out the crosswalks at the <br />Corner. He asked Council to rescind its approval of the interchange and easement for <br />construction of the Meadow Creek Parkway and any action taken over the past two years. <br />He said at least two conditions have not been met, the eastern connector and southern <br />parkway. <br /> <br />nd <br /> Ms. Edith Goode, 305 2 Street, N.W. said she is working for restoration of <br />voting rights for former felons. She noted that the Governor can sign an executive order <br />before leaving office doing that, and asked Council to contact and ask him to do so which <br />would automatically restore voting rights after probation is served. <br /> <br /> The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />_____________________________ ____________________________ <br />President Clerk <br />
