4 <br /> <br />Fund: 427 Project: P-00335 G/L Account: 599999 <br /> <br />nd <br />APPROPRIATION <br />c. : $1,380 – Public Access TV Registration Fees (2 reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the City of Charlottesville, through CATV, has received registration <br />fees of $1,380 which will be used for expenses related to the CATV operations; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED <br /> by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $1,380, received from patrons of CATV are <br />hereby appropriated in the following manner: <br /> <br />Revenue – $1,380 <br /> <br />$1,380 Fund: 105 I/O: 2000086 G/L Account: <br />435120 <br /> <br />Expenditures - $1,380 <br /> <br />$1,380 Fund: 105 I/O: 2000086 G/L Account: 599999 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br /> , that this appropriation is conditioned upon the <br />receipt of $1,380; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED <br />, that future fees and contributions to the CATV <br />program will be hereby considered as a continuing appropriation and immediately <br />available for the CATV program to spend appropriately. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />d. : $100,000 – Schools Contribution to Small Capital <br /> Improvements Program (carried over) <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />e. : $370,900 – Safe Routes to School Grant (carried over) <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION <br />f. : $50,000 – Roy’s Place Subdivision Improvements <br /> (carried over) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />g. : Allocating $25,000 from Housing Fund to Charlottesville <br /> Redevelopment and Housing Authority for PHAR <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED <br />by the City Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia <br />that the sum of $25,000 is hereby paid to the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority for PHAR’s outreach program from currently appropriated funds in the <br />following account in the capital projects fund: <br /> <br />Fund: 425 Project: P-00439 G/L Account: 599999 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br />h. : “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19-139 OF <br /> ARTICLE V OF CHAPTER 19 OF THE CHARLOTTESVILLE CITY CODE, 1990, <br /> AS AMENDED, RELATED TO FAMILY HEALTH CARE COVERAGE FOR <br />nd <br /> CITY RETIREES” (2 reading) <br /> <br />ORDINANCE <br />: RESTRICTING NIGHTIME NOISE LEVEL FOR RESTAURANTS <br />nd <br />IN NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS (2reading) <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim Tolbert, Director of Neighborhood Development Services, said Council <br />amended the noise ordinance at the last meeting to set a limit of 60 decibels after 11:00 <br />p.m. for amplified music measured at the residential property line. He said notices were <br />sent to Fontaine Avenue businesses as it would also apply to them since they are in a <br />neighborhood commercial zone. <br /> <br /> Mr. Huja asked about the difference between 55 and 60 decibels, and Dr. Brown <br />said his understanding is that sound doubles every additional 10 decibels. <br /> <br /> <br />
