BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Charlottesville hereby agrees to pay its share of the twenty percent (20%) of the total cost for planning, design, right-of-way, and construction of this project in accordance wit the guidelines for ISTEA funding. This resolution is contingent upon equal payments being made by Albemarle County and the University of Virginia to match the City's share. ORDINANCE: REZONING 303 14TH STREET, N.W. FROM R-2 TO R-3 Mr. Huja explained that the Planning Commission recommended approval of the rezoning for the following reasons: 1) It would be in harmony with the Land Use Plan of the Comprehensive Plan, and 2) Development of the site under R-3 zoning, in accordance with the site plan standards of the zoning ordinance, would not have a significant adverse impact on the surrounding properties. Ms. Daugherty made a motion to approve the ordinance rezoning 303 14th Street, N.W. from R-2 to R-3, and Mr. Toscano seconded the motion for the purpose of discussion. Mr. Toscano said that he has some qualms about the rezoning and asked if staff has any concerns about the density proposed in combination with the existing house. Mr. Huja replied that there are no final design plans, but he will research the density issue prior to the second reading of the ordinance.
