208 <br /> <br />The amounts so appropriated as subgrants to other pffbiic agencies and private non-profit, <br />charitable organizations shall be conJidered as donations for the sole purpose stated. APPROP~TiON: $55,000 - Elevator for McGuffey Renovation (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds to renovate the McGuffey Art Center have been appropriated in the <br />CaPital Fund budget in fiscal years t995 and i996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, these funds are sufficient to upgrade the plumbing, electrical, heating and <br />ventilation systems of the building and make certain modifications reqUired by the Americans <br />with Disabiti-ties Act, but are not sufficient to make the second floor accesSible; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that installation of an elevator is the most <br />cost-efficient solution, and the Per~.
