Community Development Block Grant Fund <br /> <br />(a) Continuing appropriation <br /> <br /> The sum of $735,408 in the CDBG Fund at Juen 30, 1990 shall be <br />permitted to be carried over and expended in the following fiscal year <br />for the purposes for which they were originally appropriated based on <br />estimated revenues to be received: <br /> <br /> The sum of $766,374 in the CDBG Fund shall be permitted to be <br />carried over and expended in the following fiscal year for the <br />purposes.of which they were orginally appropriated based on fund <br />balance in the fund at Jne 30, 1990. <br /> <br />XII. Social Services Fund <br /> <br />(a) Continuing appropriation <br /> <br /> The following expenditure accounts in the Social Services Fund at <br />June 30, 1990, shall be permitted to be carried over and expended in <br />the following fiscal year for the purposes for which they were <br />originally appropriated based on estimated revenues to be received: <br /> <br />XIII. <br /> <br />12-161-062292 <br />12-161-062293 <br />12-161-062296 <br />12-161-062297 <br />12-161-062279 <br /> <br />Emergency Food and Shelter Program $ 553 <br />Enhanced Employment Services 2,220 <br />Denture Program 8,675 <br />Independent Living Program (Donation) 4,639 <br />Independent Living Program (State) 4,581 <br /> <br />Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) Fund <br /> <br />(a) Continuing appropriation <br /> <br /> The sum of $4,467 in the Job Training Partnership Act fund <br />balance at June 30, 1990, shall be permitted to be carried over and <br />expended in the following fiscal year for the purpose for which it was <br />orignally appropriated.. <br /> <br /> The sum of $284,683 in the Job Training Partnership Act Fund <br /> shall be permitted to be carried over and expended in the following <br /> fiscal~year-for the contributin~of the Summer Youth Program based on <br /> estimated-revenues to be received from the Commonwealth of Virginia. <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION: CDBG REPROGRAMMING - FIFEVILLE (2nd reading) <br /> <br /> The CDBG Reprogramming appropriation for Fifeville which <br />was offered at the November 19th meeting was approved by the <br />following vote. Ayes: Ms. Slaughter, Mr. Toscano, Ms. <br />Waters. Noes: None. Absent: Rev. Edwards and Mr. <br />Vandever. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the coUncil has,previously approved the <br />appropriation of certain sums of federal grant receipts to <br />specified accounts in the Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) Fund; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it now appears that portions of the amounts <br />originally appropriated to some of these accounts are not <br />needed for the purpose for which they were designated, and <br />that these unneeded funds should be reappropriated for <br />certain other purposes in connection with this grant; now <br /> <br /> <br />
