Mr. Huja noted that the list could be changed at
a later date if found to be incorrect.

Ms. Waters recommended that an informal working group
consisting of City and County staff and representatives from
the development community be formed to further discuss the
growth projections and perhaps attempt to bring the City and
County's projections in line with one another.

Mr. Hendrix explained that the CSX property is not
within the parking exempt .zone.

Ms. Waters stated that it was her understanding that the
ordinance would allow administrative relief where
appropriate.

Mr. Clyde Gouldman, City Attorney, replied that relief
could be granted in hardship situations, but stressed that
the ordinance must be consistently applied and all developers
treated the same so as not to be arbitrary. Mr. Gouldman
noted concern with the sentence in the species list that
referred to planning staff approving appropriate trees.

Ms. Sue Lewis, a member of the Planning Commission,
stated that she was concerned about adopting the ordinance at
this time since she felt ramifications of the ordinance are
not known.

The ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND
REORDAIN SECTIONS 26.1-10, 31-190, 31-193, 31-199.1 AND
31-205, AND TO ADD NEW SECTIONS NUMBERED 31-199.2, 31-199.3,
31-199.4, AND 31-199.5 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, AS AMENDED, RELATED TO TREE PLANTING
AND REPLACEMENT,', which was offered at the June 18th meeting,
was approved by the following vote.
