Edwards, Ms. Slaughter, Mr. <br />Toscano, Mr. Vandever, Ms. Waters~. <br /> <br /> Rev. Edwards stated that it was his understanding that <br />the Library would continue the Bookmobile to the High Rise <br />for the Elderly every two weeks within the bUdget recommended <br />by the City Manager. <br /> <br /> Ms. Waters stated that she would like to take advantage <br />of the opportunity to begin work on Greenbelt Park and Ms. <br />Slaughter recommended using the capital funds previously <br />designated for the drainage study. It was the consensus of <br />Council to move the capital funds for the drainage study to <br />use for the Greenbelt Park. <br /> <br /> Ms. Linda Peacock, Budget Administrator, recommended <br />that the funds budgeted in the capital program for 1993/94 <br />for the Greenbelt Park be eliminated and funds designated in <br />1992/93 be moved forward to have the funding for the park in <br />consecutive years. <br /> <br /> Ms. Slaughter stated that concern had been expressed by <br />members of the Urban Design Committee about removing funds <br />for mall sidestreet improvements and recommended that only <br />$50,000 be removed from sidestreet expansion funds and <br />$67,000 from contingency funds. Ms. Slaughter stated that <br />she would prefer to underground utilities on 4th Street <br />rather than spend the money on bricks. <br /> <br /> <br />
