265 September 8th and 9th were set as the dates for Council's annual retreat. On motion by Mr. Vandever, seconded by Ms. Waters, Council unanimously voted to meet in executive session 'to discuss the acquisition or use of real property for public purpose, or the use of real property for public purpose, or the diSposition of publicly held property as exempted by Section 2.1-344(a)(3) of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, more specifically described as the CSX property, the former Girls' Attention Home, and property on 5th Street, S.W. Council reconvened in open session and, on motion by Ms. Waters, seconded by Mr. Vandever, unanimously certified that, to the best of each member's knowledge, (i) only public business matters lawfullY exempted from open meeting' requirements by Virginia law were'discussed in the executive meeting to which this certification resolution applies, and (ii) only such public business matters as were identified in the motion convening the executive meeting were heard, discussed or considered~by the Council.' ~~~rned. · President C e~k NOTICE OF iSPECIAL MEETING A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON Wednesday, July 24, 1991 AT 4:00 p.m. IN THE Basement Conference Room.
