<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the~Council of the City of
<br /> Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $94,328.97 is
<br /> hereby appropriated to expenditure account 11-020-062037 in
<br /> the Grants!Fund for operation of-the Charlottesville-
<br /> Albemarle Youth Commission during fiscal year 1991-1992.
<br /> Such appropriation is conditioned upon receipt of $54,546
<br /> from the Virginia Department of Youth and Family Services
<br /> (Virginia Delinquency Prevention and Youth Development Act
<br /> Grant 91-II.2), $15,516 from~the CountY of Albemarle, and
<br /> $24,266 shall be~transferred from aCcoun~ 05-302-131031 in
<br /> the General~Fund to the Grants Fund.

<br /> Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $18,140.00 to be
<br /> received as ~a grant from'the Virginia Department of Criminal
<br /> Justice Services, and the sum of $16,896.00, which shall be
<br /> tranSferred from General Fund account 05'230-032040, for a
<br /> total~of $35,036.00, is hereby appropriated to expenditure
<br /> account 11-230-032042 in ~the Grants FUnd fOr ithe purPOse of
<br /> funding t~he Victim-Witness Assistance Program in the Office

<br /> The $40,000 _appropriation for the CRHA contract for CSOs
<br /> which was offered at the August 5th meeting was approved by
<br /> the following vote. Ayes: Rev. Edwards, Mr. Toscano, Mr.
<br /> Vandever, Ms. Waters. Noes: None. AbSent: ' Ms. Slaughter.

<br /> WHEREAS, the Charlottesville Redevelopment and HOusing
<br /> Authority (CRHA) has been approved for a Public Housing Drug
<br /> Elimination Grant, $40,000 which has been designated to
<br /> provide additional security services at the Westhaven housing
<br /> site; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the CRHA Board of Commissioners on June 24,
<br />1991, approved the use of Community Service Officers (CSO's)
<br />to provide such security, and has requested City Council to~
<br />hire two (2) part-time CSO's for that purpose; now,
<br />therefore,
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the~CouhCil'of the City of
<br />Charlottesville, Virginia that the sum of $40,000.00, to be
<br />received as revenue_from the CharlotteSville Redevelopment
<br />and Housing Authority, is hereby appropriated to account
<br />11-111-041136 in the Grants Fund for the purpose~of funding
