11 <br />• <br />• <br />ANNUAL APPROPRIATION AND BUDGET APPROVAL <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND <br />WHEREAS, this Council, by resolution adopted April 10, 1984 <br />approved a budget and annual appropriations for the operation <br />of the City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1984 and <br />ending June 30, 1985; and <br />WHEREAS, that resolution did not include approval of or <br />an appropriation for the projects and items proposed by the City <br />Manager as a budget for the Capital Improvements Fund for such <br />fiscal year; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia, that the Council now approves the budget for the Capital <br />Improvements Fund as presented by the City Manager and directs <br />that the same be included to be printed with the final approved <br />budget of the City for the 1984-85 fiscal year; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sums hereinafter set forth <br />are hereby appropriated from the Capital Improvements Fund of <br />the City for the respective capital purchases or projects so set <br />forth, effective for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1984; <br />provided that such appropriations shall be deemed to expire <br />at the end of such fiscal year, but shall continue in effect <br />unless altered by further action of City Council. <br />Asbestos Removal (Phase II) <br />School Bus Parking Lot Fencing <br />Handicapped Barrier Modification <br />Fire Training Center <br />911/Joint Dispatch Center <br />Joint Security Complex Sprinkler System <br />Police Communication Equipment <br />McIntire Park Improvements <br />Handicapped Barrier Removal: Parks <br />Airport Terminal Expansion <br />New Community Sidewalks <br />Hydraulic Road Improvements <br />TSM Projects <br />Ridge Street Bridge Replacement <br />Street Reconstruction Program <br />Railroad Crossing Improvements <br />Handicapped Access Improvements <br />Voting Machines <br />City-wide Drainage Improvements <br />Building Maintenance Improvements <br />Landfill Improvements <br />TOTAL <br />$ 24,400 <br />10,000 <br />38,000 <br />25,000 <br />15,000 <br />12,469 <br />25,000 <br />100,000 <br />2,000 <br />120,000 <br />60,000 <br />81,177 <br />90,662 <br />7,977 <br />100,000 <br />11,100 <br />2,000 <br />42,420 <br />75,000 <br />246,843 <br />150,000 <br />$ 1,239,048 <br />Approved by Council June 18, 1984 <br />C04 Clerk of Council <br />
