• <br />• <br />APPROPRIATION <br />2005 Homeland Security Local Preparedness Grant <br />$73,687 <br />WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Emergency Management has awarded the City <br />of Charlottesville the 2005 Homeland Security Local Preparedness Grant in the amount of <br />$73,687 to be shared equally between the Police and Fire Departments; and <br />WHEREAS, the grant award covers the period from October 6, 2006 to January 31, <br />2007. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $73,687, received as a grant from the Department of <br />Homeland Security, through the Department of Justice, is hereby appropriated in the following <br />manner: <br />Revenue — $73,687 <br />$36,843.50 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900070 (Police) G/L Account: 430110 <br />$36,843.50 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900071(Fire) G/L Account: 430110 <br />Expenditures - $73,687 <br />$36,843.50 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900070 (Police) G/L Account: 520900 <br />$36,843.50 Fund: 209 Internal Order: 1900071 (Fire) G/L Account: 520900 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this appropriation is conditioned upon the receipt <br />of $73,687 from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management. <br />Approved by Council <br />November 20, 2006 <br />�..... . <br />O. of City Council <br />
