• AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN SECTION 1 <br />OF AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED JANUARY 20, 1976, <br />WHICH ESTABLISHED A CENTRAL ABSENTEE VOTER ELECTION DISTRICT <br />PURSUANT TO SECTION 24.1-233.1 <br />OF THE CODE OF VIRGINIA, <br />IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE LOCATION FOR TABULATING ABSENTEE VOTES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that <br />Section 1 of an ordinance adopted January 20, 1976, which established a <br />Central Absentee Voter Election District, be amended and reordained as <br />follows: <br />1. SECTION 1. That there is hereby established a Central Absentee Voter <br />Election District in the e€€iee�t4Eleec�ral-BoarE} e€t�eity e€liarleE#es <br />vi -He Basement Conference Room in City Hall for the purpose of receiving, <br />counting and recording all absentee ballots in all elections cast within the <br />City of Charlottesville. Such Central Absentee Voter Election District shall <br />receive, count and record all absentee ballots in accordance with the <br />requirements of §24.1-233.1 and all other applicable provisions of law. <br />• 2.
