Same - Procedures. <br />The Historic Landmarks Commission <br />outlined for the Board of Architectural <br />abide by the same procedu <br />w as outlined in 5631-132 <br />through 31-138. <br />Section 31-139.3. Protection of historical or architectural <br />landmarks or structures, or sites. <br />In promoting the purposes set forth in §31-126, the Historic Landmarks <br />Commission may recommend to city council that certain specific historically, <br />culturally or architecturally significant structures, landmarks, or sites be <br />made subiect to the provisions of this article in accordance with §31-127.2. <br />Section 31-139.4. Designation of historical or architectural <br />landmarks or structures or sites. <br />The city council may officially designate landmarks or other specific <br />historically, culturally or architecturally significant structures, land- <br />marks, or sites by amending the official zoning map according to the pro- <br />cedures outlined in article XXVII. Upon such official designation such <br />structures, landmarks or sites shall be subject to the provisions and regu <br />tions of this article. <br />Section 31-140.1. Restrictions on erection of new buildings or <br />alteration of existing historically and/or <br />architecturally significant buildings or sites. <br />(a) No erections of new buildings or alteration of existing land- <br />marks, structures or sites which are subject to this article shall begin <br />until the owner or agent of such structure or site has first submitted an <br />application in accordance with Division 3 of this article to the Board of <br />Architectural Review and the board has approved a certificate of <br />appropriateness for such activity. <br />(b) No structure within the Architectural Design Control District <br />shall exceed a height of forty feet from grade to cornice line. <br />0 <br />
