• AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING AND DISCONTINUING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE GARRETT STREET PROJFCT IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE WHFRFAS, proper notice that the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority would make application to the City Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, to have the hereinafter described streets and alleys closed, vacated and discontinued was duly posted; and "FFRF.AS, all the owners abutting said streets and alleys have been duly notified; and WFFRFAS, application was made to the City Council and pursuant to the statutes in such cases made and provided, the Council appointed viewers who have reported that no inconvenience would result from such closing, vacati_n� and discontinuance; and MOl41 THFRFFORF, AF IT ORDAINFD by the Council of the Cite of Charlottes- ville, Virginia, that the said streets and. alleys in the Garrett Street • Project located in the City of Charlottesville, Virainia, described as follows are hereby closed, vacated and discontinued as 'public thoronnhFares of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, said streets and. alleys not being needed for public use and travel: (1) That portion of South Street lying between 6th Street, S. F. ana 3 1/2 Street, S. F. and bordering alona Parcels 3, 8 and 10 on Tax Map 54 and Parcels 240, 60.1 and along the C&O Railway property on Tax Map 28. (2) An alley '. F. and 5th and 20 on Tax approximately Street, S. F. Map 58. 15 feet wide and lying between 6th Street, and bordering along Parcels R, 1.0, 19 (3) That portion of Sth Street, S. F. lying between South Street g and Garrett Street and bordering alonParcels R, 19 and 23 on Tax Plan 5P and Parcel 24.0 on Tax Map 28 and that portion of 5th Street, S. F. running in a southerly direction From its intersection of Garrett Street to the end of said 5th Street, S.
