10 <br />• SECTION 3-2 <br />2. <br />Deposit required to pay cost of policing. <br />No carnival or other like show or exhibition shall exhibit within the <br />city unless and until such carnival shall have made a deposit with the <br />direeter-ef-ftnanee city treasurer of fifty dollars for each day on which <br />an exhibition is proposed to cover the cost of additional city services in <br />connection with such carnival, which shall be paid out of such deposit and <br />the difference, if any, refunded. The chief of police shall designate <br />such members of the police department as he may deem necessary for the <br />policing of such carnival or other exhibition. <br />SECTION 5-5. Schedule of building permit fees -- Generally. <br />(e) All building permits shall be issued upon payment of a fee based <br />on the estimated total physical value. Upon completion of the work for <br />which a permit is issued, an accurate statement of the actual cost thereof <br />shall be furnished to the building official by the party to whom the permit <br />was issued. An adjustment of the difference between the fee paid, based <br />on the estimated total physical value, shall be made. If the actual cost <br />•exceeds the estimated cost, the party to whom the permit was issued shall <br />pay the difference in the fee; if the actual cost be less than the <br />estimated cost, the city elireeter-a€-finanee treasurer is hereby <br />authorized upon direction of the building official, to refund to the party, <br />by whom the estimated fee was paid, such portion thereof as constitutes <br />an overpayment. <br />SECTION 5-13. Same --Fees. <br />All such electrical permits shall be issued upon payment of a fee <br />based on the estimated total physical value as hereinabove set forth. <br />Upon completion of the work for which such a permit is issued, an accurate <br />statement of the actual cost thereof shall be furnished to the electrical <br />inspector by the party to whom the permit was issued; and thereupon <br />adjustment of the difference between the fee properly chargeable, based <br />on the actual cost, and the fee paid, based on the estimated total physical <br />value, shall be made. If the actual cost exceeds the estimated cost, the <br />party to whom the permit was issued shall pay the difference in fee; if <br />the actual cost be less than the estimated cost, then the direeter-ef- <br />fsnanee city treasurer is hereby authorized, upon request of the <br />electrical inspector, to refund to the party, by whom the estimated fee <br />• was paid, such portion thereof as constitutes an overpayment. <br />
