Page 6 <br />the requirements of site plan review in accordance with X31-192, there <br />• shall be no fee charged. <br />Section 31-196. Landscaping €ar-drive-in-fee#pities. <br />All &rive-4:n-€eei1#toes nonresidential uses, including parking <br />lots and vehicular display areas, where front yard is provided shall have <br />at least fifty percent of the street frontage lanscaped with plant mate- <br />rial. Such planting area shall have a minimum width of five feet. The <br />planning commission may allow a deviation from these requirements, if in <br />its judgment such deviation is consistent with the intent of this article <br />and beneficial to the proposed development. <br />Section 31-197. Screening. <br />All required screening shall be sufficiently dense or opaque to <br />screen the development effectively from the adjacent properties. The <br />following uses shall be adequately screened from the public right-of-way: <br />(1) Storage lots for automobile repair shops; <br />(2) Storage of inoperative automobile, or automobile accessory <br />parts such as tires, motors, body parts, etc. <br />(3) Storage of construction materials, other than on active <br />• construction sties. <br />(4) Junk yards. <br />Section 31-200.1. Location of driveways. <br />Driveways shall be located no closer than five feet to any lot <br />located in residential district or used for residential purposes unless <br />otherwise specified. <br />Section 31-200.2. Bicycle storage facilities. <br />Adequate bicycle storage facilities may be required _for sororities <br />fraternities, dormitories, multi -family dwelling structures with five <br />or more units, and all non-residential uses utilized by the public, <br />where such facilities are deemed to be in the public interest by the <br />director of planning or the planning commission. The required bicycle <br />storage facilities shall not exceed following standards: <br />(a) Residential <br />bedroom area <br />(b) Re <br />houses <br />ial - <br />five or more <br />- one bicycle space per 500 feet of <br />raternities, sororities, dormitories <br />arding houses, and similar establish <br />mily structures or developments with <br />units - one bicvcle space for every <br />• two dwelling units. <br />(c) Nonresidential uses utilized <br />the public - one bicycle <br />t of public space. <br />
