1 • AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING AND DISCONTINUING A PORTION OF BLENHEIM AVENUE AND A PORTION OF WARE STREET IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE WHEREAS, proper notice that Frank Ix and Sons, Inc., would make application to the City Council of the City of Charlottes- ville, Virginia, to have the hereinafter described streets closed, vacated and discontinued was duly posted; and WHEREAS, all the owners abutting said streets have been duly notified; and WHEREAS, application was made to the City Council and pursuant to the statutes in such cases made and provided, the Council appoint- ed viewers who have reported that no inconvenience would result from such closures, vacations and discontinuances; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED Charlottesville, Virginia, that the • City of Charlottesville, Virginia, closed, vacated and discontinued as City of Charlottesville, Virginia, for public use and travel: • by the Council of the City of said streets located in the described as follows are hereby public thoroughfares of the said streets not being needed That portion of Blenheim Avenue running in a westerly direction from Sixth Street, S. E. to its intersection with Ware Street and bordering along Parcels 33, 19 and 18 on City Real Property Tax Map 27. That portion of Ware Street running in a southerly direction from Blenheim Avenue to the northern boundary of Parcel 36 on City Real Property Tax Map 27 and bordering along a portion of Parcel 28 on City Real Property Tax Map 28 and Parcel 18 and a Portion of Parcel 17 on City Real Property Tax Map 27. The City of Charlottesville hereby reserves an easement to maintain and repair the existing sanitary sewer and storm sewer mains located in Blenheim Avenue, and the existing water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer mains located in Ware Street, ten feet in either direction from the center line of said utilities.
