I <br />Section 31-92. Permitted uses -- By right. <br />• The following uses shall be permitted by right in the B-3 Business <br />District. <br />(a) Any uses permitted by right in the B-2 Business District. <br />(b) Retail sales. <br />(c) Hospitals. <br />(d) Motels and hotels (with and without restaurants). <br />(e) Wholesale establishments. <br />(f) Auto, motorcycle, farm and industrial equipment dealers and <br />repair. <br />(g) Frozen food lockers. <br />(h) Parking garages. <br />(i) Automatic car wash. <br />{3} AA3RlH <br />(k) Blueprinting and photographic processing. <br />(1) Drive-in restaurants. <br />(m) Drive-in theatres. <br />(n) Service stations <br />(o) Bakeries. <br />(p) Mobile home sales. <br />(q) Plumbing, heating, electrical, air conditioning and similar <br />establishments. <br />• (r) Tire sales and recapping. <br />(s) Mass transit terminals. <br />(t) Radio, television, telephone, telegraph and electricity <br />transmission towers and stations and similar facilities. <br />(u) Florists; including greenhouses. <br />Section 31-93. With special use permits. <br />The following uses may be permitted in the B-3 Business District with <br />a special use permit: <br />(a) Warehouses. <br />(b) Printing and publishing establishments. <br />(c) Manufacturing and processing establishments of a craft nature <br />(such as ice cream, candy, jewelry, millinery, clothing, <br />pottery) which will have a moderate adverse environmental <br />impact on surrounding development in the form of smoke, odor, <br />dust, noise, gas fumes and fire hazards. <br />(d) Residential high density up to one hundred twenty dwelling <br />units per acre in B-3 District adjacent to the B-4 District. <br />(e) Public utility facilities. <br />(f) Dry cleaning establishments of moderate or high hazard, as <br />defined by the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code. <br />• g) Animal shelters. <br />(h) Animal hospitals (without outside runs or pens). <br />
