Charge for bad checks. <br />Any customer whose check for payment of his account or any <br />portion thereof is returned by the financial institution on <br />which drawn for insufficient funds shall be subject to a charge <br />• of five dollars, which charge shall be added to and become a <br />part of the account of such customer. The director of finance <br />may require any customer whose checks are returned for insuffi- <br />cient funds two or more times within a twenty-four month period <br />to post an additional deposit as provided in section 12-8.1. <br />Section 12-11. Charge for restoring service. <br />For turning gas on again after it has been eet-aff <br />terminated for non-payment, there shall be a charge of five ten <br />dollars, payable in advance. When such restoration of service <br />is reauired during other than normal business hours, this charg <br />Section 12-11.1. Unauthorized restoration of service. <br />Whenever the director of finance determines that qas service <br />which was terminated for non-payment has been restored by someone <br />other than authorized personnel of the city, he shall have the <br />metering device for that address removed, and shall assess an <br />additional charge of thirty fifty dollars to such account. In <br />addition, before restoring service to such account, the director <br />of finance shall collect an additional deposit as required by <br />• <br />section 12-8.1. <br />
