• AN ORDINANCE <br />TO AMEND AND REORDAIN SECTIONS <br />2-94 AND 2-95 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, AS AMENDED, <br />SUCH SECTIONS RELATING TO THE MEMBERSHIP <br />AND ADMINISTRATION OF <br />THE CHARLOTTESVILLE-ALBEMARLE JOINT AIRPORT COMMISSION <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia: <br />That sections 2-94 and 2-95 of the code of the City <br />of Charlottesville, 1976, are amended as follows: <br />Section 2-94. Compensation and terms of members; <br />advisery; nenveting members <br />All members of the airport commission shall serve <br />without compensation. The eity manager; the eeunty <br />exeeutive and the airgert manager shall serve as adviaery; <br />nenveting members e€ the eemmissien; and will be in <br />additien to the seven veting members of the eemmissien- <br />All veting members will serve terms which expire on <br />• December 1 of the third year following their appointment. <br />No veting member will be reappointed who has served as <br />a member for six consecutive years immediately preceding <br />such reappointment. <br />Section 2-95. Officers and staff; minutes of meetings. <br />As soon after their appointment as possible, the <br />veting members of the airport commission shall convene <br />and elect a chairperson and vice -chairperson from their <br />group for a term of one year. The airport manager -L5 <br />seeretary manager or his or her designee shall serve as <br />seeretary staff to the airport commission and shall <br />perform such duties as may be assigned are appropriate, <br />including the keeping of proper minutes of the meetings <br />of the commission.
