Signs for which permit is not required. <br />r <br />Eki Signa regulating on -premises traffic,- parking or <br />indicating other functional information such as lavatory <br />facilities or telephone, and signs denoting functions of other <br />sections of a building such as °fabrication, -II or "effice,-8 when <br />less than six square feet in an area and bearing no commercial <br />sdvertising.- <br />(k) On -premises signs of less than six square feet in area <br />to regulate internal traffic or parking, to designate the <br />location of facilities, to comply with governmental requirements, <br />or to provide similar non-commercial information. <br />w w w <br />Section 31-195. Erosion and sedimentation controli <br />drainage. <br />Slopes in excess of ten percent shall be treated in a manner <br />acceptable to the director of planning or the planning commission <br />to prevent soil erosion and excessive runoff; provided, that <br />• <br />measures taken for erosion and sedimentation control shall <br />conform to the standards and procedures set forth in chapter 9 of <br />this code; and provided, that in cases where an erosion and <br />sedimentation control permit is required, the necessary plans and <br />data shall be submitted, reviewed, and approved concurrently with <br />the site plan, as set forth in such chapter. <br />The following auidelines shall be followed in develooin <br />site plans required under section 31-191: <br />(a) New drainage facilities or improvements to existing <br />drainage facilities shall be designed to cope with storms having <br />10 year recurrence interval. <br />(b) Drainage improvements or those constructed in <br />conjunction with site or subdivision plans shall be constructed <br />down stream to a location where the receiving channel or conduit <br />will convey the ten year storm without overtopping its banks or <br />eroding. <br />(c) All site plans shall include provisions for on-site <br />detention of runoff, or in lieu thereof the developers may be <br />required to contribute the pro -rata share for the site toward the <br />estimated cost of a planned neighborhood or reaicnal detention <br />basin. <br />• <br />6 <br />
