• <br />• <br />• <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />RELATING TO THE HOURS OF OPERATION <br />OF MCINTIRE PARK <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottes- <br />ville, Virginia, that section 18 -3 of the Code of the City of <br />Charlottesville, 1976, as amended, is hereby amended and <br />reordained as follows: <br />Section 18 -3. Closing of parks and recreation facilities <br />during certain hours. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to go or remain upon the <br />premises of the following parks or recreation facilities between <br />the hours of 9:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. without the express <br />permission of the director of parks and recreation or his or her <br />designated representative: <br />Azalea Park. <br />Belmont Park. <br />Fifeville Park. <br />Forest Hills Park. <br />Greebrier Park. <br />Greenleaf Park. <br />Jordan Park. <br />McGuffey Park. <br />Meade Park. <br />Meadowbrook Park. <br />Northeast Park. <br />Quarry Park. <br />Riverview Park. <br />Rives Park. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to go or remain on the <br />premises of Crow and Smith Recreation Centers or their parking <br />lots between the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 6:00 A.M. without the <br />express permission of the director of parks and recreation or his <br />or her designated representative. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to go on or remain on <br />the premises of Tonsler,- McIntire or Washington Parks between the <br />hours of midnight and 6:00 A.M. without the express permission of <br />the director of parks and recreation or his or her designated <br />representative. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to go on or remain on <br />the premises of McIntire Park between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and <br />6:00 A.M. without the express permission of the director of parks <br />and recreation or his or her designated representative; provided, <br />however, it shall not be unlawful to be on the premises of <br />McIntire Park between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and midnight for <br />the purpose of attending an activity scheduled in advance with <br />the department of parks and recreation. <br />Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be <br />guilty of a Class III misdemeanor. <br />Approved by Council <br />September 21, 1987 erk of Council <br />87 -7 -28 <br />
