• under any other schedule; <br />(2) The eeRsumer customer shall have installed and <br />available for immediate use equipment which will use some other <br />fuel sufficient to meet all of that customer's needs and which <br />can be put in operation within two hears one hour after being <br />notified by the city. <br />(b) Customer's agreement. A customer purchasing gas <br />pursuant to this section agrees to discontinue the service when <br />requested by the gas superintendent or his or her representative, <br />on two hears= one hour's notice, at any time whenever, in the <br />sole judgment of the gas superintendent, such gas is not avail- <br />able for traaspertatiex delivery hereunder. If the customer <br />continues to use or consume gas under this section after being <br />notified to discontinue, the customer shall be billed for all gas <br />so consumed at a rate of ten dollars per thousand cubic feet and <br />the City shall, as soon as the violation comes to its attention, <br />terminate service to the customer until the period of interrup- <br />tion is over. This ten dollar per thousand cubic feet charge <br />shall be in addition to any fine or charge incurred by the City <br />as a result of any unauthorized use of gas by the customer. <br />(c) Basic monthly service charge. The basic monthly charge <br />for interruptible sales service shall be fifty dollars. <br />(d) Rate. For all gas consumed by interruptible customers <br />• the rate shall be 3.8465 $4.5126 per thousand cubic feet for the <br />first 600.000 cubic fees, and $4.1624 per thousand cubic feet for <br />all volumes over 600.000 cubic feet. <br />(e) Annual Minimum Quantity. Interruptible rate customers <br />shall be obligated to take or pay for a minimum quantity of <br />1,200,000 cubic feet of gas annually. Each year as of June 30 <br />the Director of Finance shall calculate the total consumption of <br />each interruptible customer for the preceding twelve monthly <br />billing periods, and shall bill any customer that has consumed <br />less than the minimum quantity for the deficient amount at the <br />rate of 8378465 $4"427 per thousand cubic feet ; plus applleable <br />purehased gas adjustments- The minimum quantity shall net he <br />applieable to any eustemer whe has began reeeiving serviee at the <br />interruptible rate €er the first time during the preeeding twelve <br />meatus. Any new customer shall be required to enter into a service <br />anreement with the Citv prior to the start of service. If an <br />interruptible customer terminates service the annual minimum <br />requirement shall be prorated on the basis of 100,000 cubic feet <br />per month for each month the customer has received service since <br />the last June 30 adjustment. <br />(f) Contract required. Before service is turned on under <br />this section, the customer shall agree in writing to abide by the <br />terms and conditions of this section. <br />3 <br />
