• Zone 7. That area bounded on the north by Grove Street, Estes <br />Street and the CSX Railroad, on the west by Baker Street and North <br />Baker Street on the south by Cherry Avenue and on the east by 5th <br />Street, S.W. <br />The streets designated as boundaries in the foregoing descriptions <br />of permit parking zones shall be considered to be portions of such <br />zones; provided, that no permit shall be required for parking on <br />any street or portion of a street within such zone unless and until <br />such street or portion thereof shall have been designated as a <br />restricted parking block pursuant to the regulations adopted under <br />section 16-57. <br />Sec. 16-56.4. Creation of New Permit Parking Zones. <br />Based on recommendations from the city traffic engineer with <br />the approval of the city manager, the city council may from time to <br />time delineate additional residential areas of the city as permit <br />parking zones. Council may create such new permit parking zones by <br />amending Section 16-56.2 of this Code.
