Pi <br />• <br />(b) During the months of February through September, any <br />leaves intended for city collection shall be placed in containers, <br />baskets or boxes for collection as dry trash in accordance with <br />subsection (a) of this section. This includes any leaves deposited <br />earlier for vacuum collection if such leaves were not so collected <br />during the months of October through January. <br />(c) No legal action will be taken against any person owning <br />or occupying property abutting any portion of a street or sidewalk <br />whereon leaves have accumulated in violation of the provisions of <br />this section until such person has failed to comply with a written <br />notice that a violation exists given by a city police officer or <br />other person designated by the city manager. Such notice shall <br />specify a reasonable time for such person to correct the violation. <br />Section 26-30. Placement of containers and bundles for <br />collection. <br />Receptacles or bundles containing garbage and refuse shall be <br />placed along the edge of the sidewalk or roadway for collection on <br />such days as may be scheduled by the superintendent of public <br />service. Such garbage and refuse shall be so placed for collection <br />not earlier than 6:00 p.m. on the day preceding the scheduled <br />collection time for such location. Emptied receptacles, except <br />those installed below the ground or dumpsters for bulk collection, <br />shall be removed by the owner thereof from the sidewalk or roadway <br />and taken behind the building setback line within twelve (12) hours <br />after being emptied. <br />Section 26-31. Certain wastes not to be collected by city. <br />Factory cuttings, trade wastes or rejected building materials <br />will not be removed collected by the city. They may be hauled to <br />an approved landfill by the property owner or the owner's agent. <br />Section 26-32. Placement for collection of garbage or refuse <br />from outside City. <br />It shall be unlawful for any non-resident of the City or any <br />owner of a business not situated within the City limits, or any <br />agent of either, to bring bagged, boxed or bundled household or <br />business garbage or refuse from outside the City into the City and <br />deposit it anywhere herein for collection by the public service <br />division of the public works department. <br />ARTICLE III USER FEES FOR COMMERCIAL REFUSE CONTAINER <br />aM�� <br />generated by commercial property owners located within city <br />boundaries. <br />2 <br />
